CEO of car2go Europe GmbH is responsible for the currently 12 car2go locations in Europe.
Car2go, the pioneer and market leader of new non-station-based carsharing systems, was developed as a mobility concept for urban agglomerations in the year 2008. Currently 9,000 car2go vehicles are used by more than 480,000 customers in 23 North American and European cities.

Before starting his job at car2go early 2013 he worked as a financial consultant (1994 – 1997) and between 1997 and 2012 he held various positions at Europcar, at last as Director for Strategy and Business Development. Thomas Beermann is married and has three children.
