In a demotorization contest, the public transport is the only real and universal alternative to private cars for urban transit. Financial cuts to this sector are threatening the operators and risk to throw our cities into paralysis. Nonetheless investments in LPT would bring economic growth, wealth, employment and a switch in our lifestyles, but with a constraint: we need first to solve the institutional deadlock.
