During the Milan first edition of Citytech, the collector of intelligences for the mobility of the third millennium, it was inaugurated on October 28 at the Steam Factory My Citytech, Shoot your New Mobility!, the exhibition of photo/video projects organized in collaboration with Trasportando and Photographers, and curated by th critic Roberto Mutti.
The projects were selected by a competition held between 15 July and 10 October through the site photographers.it. They interpret the concept of New Mobility, understood as a mobility wich meet the travel needs of the citizens in a rational, safe, efficient and environmentally friendly way. The projects presented were loaded on the Facebook Fanpage of Citytech and voted by a jury with the system of Likes. The 5 projects that have been most successful, have been exhibit at the Steam Factory on 28 and 29 October.
On the evening of October 28 was declared the winner, Simone Ludovico with the project Coincidenze Urbane, in the presence of the jury, the public and institutions. The project can also be selected and used in the communication campaign event for the 2014 edition, to be determined after consultation with the authors.
The Jury was composed by:
- Roberto Mutti, photography critic, journalist for La Repubblica, exhibition organizer and author of numerous books on photographic topics
- Maurizio Cavalli, Director of the Italian Institute of Photography
- Pierfrancesco Maran, Councillor for Mobility, Environment, Subways, Public Water, Energy City of Milan
- Bartolomeo Giachino, Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Maurizio Lupi
- Simone Dini, a spokesman for the Network for New Mobility
- Michele Meta, Chairman of the House Transportation Committee
- Barbara Covili, CEO of Clickutility on Earth
- Sonia Pampuri, owner of Trasportando.com
- Cucchetto Angelo, owner of Photographers.it
